4th May 2003 Windsurfing: Tarifa-Las Dunas Wind Direction: E (Levante) Wind Stength: 5 decreasing Surf / Sea State: Lumpy Air Temperature: 24 Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: Sol/pt cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: The forecast was for the Levante to drop, so I rushed out at 10 or so to make the most of the ¥5.4¥ spot. It was good, and the highlight was the improvement in my gybe attempts - from only getting half way around to now getting 3/4 way around, and even flipping the rig for the first time. Nearly there! As expected, after an hour or so the wind dropped, waterstarting was hard work, and I ended up downwind. Could have changed up, but the back had had enough even though I hadn¥t. |
